Lifeguard Sleepover

A night of fun hosted by your favorite guards!

Thursday, August 8, 2024 – Friday, August 9, 2024

The Lifeguard Sleepover is an annual NSJ tradition. Rising 2nd – 7th graders are invited to come enjoy the Club for some late-night fun, snacks, movies, and more!

The night is split into two phases:

  1. Evening Activities
    1. 7 – 10 PM
    2. Children entering 2nd grade through 7th grade are able to attend.
  2. Sleepover Party
    1. 7 PM – 8 AM
    2. Children entering 4th grade through 7th grade are eligible to sleep over.

When

  • Drop Off: Thursday 8/8 @ 7 PM (Everyone)
  • Pick Up:
    • Evening Activities: Thursday 8/8 @ 10 PM
    • Sleepover Party: Friday 8/9 @ 8 AM

Who

  • Evening Activities: Rising 2nd – 7th graders ONLY
  • Sleepover Party: Rising 4th – 7th grader ONLY

This is a members only event. NO guests are allowed. 

Cost

  • Evening Activities:
    • $20 per child
  • Sleepover Party: 
    • $35 per child
  • A $5 discount is applied for each additional sibling

More Details

The NSJ Managers and Lifeguards will be hosting this event. The children will be sleeping on lounge chairs lined up under the pavilion with a movie screen set up.  The pool will be blocked off, the gates will be locked, and the facility will be well guarded all evening. No tents are allowed.

Beverages, and ice cream will be served to everyone.  For those staying overnight, popcorn and breakfast (donuts) will be provided.

Activities:

Swimming, games, basketball, volleyball, tie dye and more! There will be age appropriate movies for those sleeping over.

Required Items:

All children sleeping over MUST bring:

  • Sleeping bag and pillow
  • Swimsuit
  • Change of clothes and/or PJs
  • Towel
  • Toiletries and any other items needed

Medications & Allergies:

All medication should be taken BEFORE the sleepover. Any child requiring medication should have a chaperone present.

If your child has an allergy, please indicate so on the sign up form. We are NOT able to accommodate allergy-free snacks for this event. Parents of children with allergies are able to provide substitute food for their child when necessary.

Volunteers & Chaperones:

Chaperones are welcome to stay and help out during the evening festivities. If you would like to volunteer, please indicate your interest on the sign up form, and the Staff will be in touch.

Parents are NOT able to stay for the overnight sleepover portion of the event.
