Coach, Rowan Vessey
Coach Rowan is joining NSJ for her fifth season coaching. A former diver for NSJ, she also loves cheerleading and playing the guitar in her free time. Rowan, a graduate of Marriotts Ridge High School, currently attends Towson University and is excited for another great season of dive!
Coach, Paige Citro
With a natural love for the water, Paige learned to swim as a baby and developed her love for dive when she joined the NSJ dive team at the early age of 7. She never looked back! Paige is a 2023 graduate from Marriott’s Ridge and attends Randolph-Macon College where she enjoys playing soccer and lacrosse. Paige is also a lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid certified. She is excited to be returning for her fourth season as a coach! We are happy to have Paige as a part of our Dive Team family!
Coach, John Walker
John has been diving on the NSJ dive team since the age of 6 and on the UMBC club dive team from the age of 9. He loves the competitiveness of the sport, learning new dives, and the friends he has made over the years. John coached the UMBC club dive team, is a lifeguard, and is CPR / First Aid certified. John attends UMD College Park and is majoring in mechanical engineering. We are happy to have John as a dive coach this summer!
Coach, Olivia Bashura
Olivia has been on the NSJ dive team since she was 9. She is a 2023 Mt. Hebron High School graduate and is studying astronomy at University of Delaware. She enjoys reading, writing, listening to music, and playing any type of sport, including diving and softball. She is very excited to be a NSJ dive coach this summer!
Intern Coach, Colton Crow
Colton is a current NSJ diver and club record holder! He joined our coaching staff in summer of 2024 and is instrumental in helping our young divers achieve their potential. Colton is also a UMBC Club Diver throughout the year. We are happy to have him and his talent on our team!
Dive Team Director, Susan Walker
Susan has been part of the dive community since 2012 when her son John started flipping off the NSJ diving boards. She is supportive of the NSJ and CMDL diving communities and has volunteered in many roles with the dive team, including being a judge and a referee during the dive meets. This is Susan’s third year as Dive Team Director and she’s excited to work with our awesome coaches, encourage the new and returning divers, continue to build the team, and have a great summer!
