Coach, Olivia Bashura
Olivia has been on the NSJ dive team since she was 9. She is a tenured Dive Coach and is excited to be at NSJ once again this summer! She is studying astronomy at the University of Delaware. She enjoys reading, writing, listening to music, and playing any type of sport, including diving and softball.
Coach, John Walker
John has been part of the NSJ dive team since the age of 6 and on the UMBC club dive team from the age of 9. He loves the competitiveness of the sport and the friends he has made over the years. John assisted with coaching the UMBC club dive team. He is CPR / First Aid certified, has worked as a lifeguard, and still has his pool ops. John attends UMD College Park and is majoring in mechanical engineering.
Assistant Coach, Colton Crow
Colton is a current NSJ diver and club record holder! He joined our coaching staff in 2024 and is instrumental in helping our young divers achieve their potential. Colton is also a UMBC Club Diver throughout the year. We are happy to have him and his talent on our team!

Dive Team Advisor, Susan Walker
Susan has been part of the dive community since 2012, when her son John started flipping off the NSJ diving boards. She is supportive of the NSJ and CMDL diving communities and has volunteered in many roles with the dive team, including serving as a judge and referee at dive meets. She is excited to work with our awesome coaches, encourage new and returning divers, and continue building the team, all while having a great summer!
